Eero Aarnio is a Finnish designer and an iconic figure in Scandinavian modernism. His work started in the 1960s, his work experimented with bright colours and forms, in moulded plastics. These bold pieces were strikingly modern; amongst these pieces was, 'the ball', 'the pastil' and 'the bubble'.
His work is represented across the world in museum's permanent collections. See his designs at the V&A, MoMA and the Vitra design museum.
