The designer-architects Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost collaborated on a series of lights for DCW Editions.
The basis of their collaboration was mesh. The material is malleable and adaptable, with both soft and industrial connotations. The pair used the material to create two range of lamps, the In the tube collection and the Here comes the sun pendants. These lights used in the French National Library.
Lauriot-Prévost is the art director of Perrault's architecture studio, both managing the same team and supervising the same projects. She joined the practice in 1989 a year after she graduated.
