Philipp Mainzer

Philipp Mainzer is a German designer, architect and co-founder of the furniture brand e15. He studied product design at Central Saint Martins and architecture at the Architectural Association in London. Mainzer’s work spans furniture, product, and architectural design, with several of his pieces held in permanent museum collections. 

Alongside leading e15 as creative and managing director, Mainzer runs his architecture practice PMO. He is also a member of the German Design Council and an honorary member of the Deutsche Designer Club.

Mainzer was named one of the top 200 design influencers by AD Germany in 2019. His work has received numerous international accolades, including the Wallpaper Design Award for "Best Re-Issue" in 2013 for the Calvert table, the Interior Innovation Award – New Classics by Schöner Wohnen in 2006 for the Bigfoot table, and Wallpaper's "Best Divine Inspiration" award in 2016 for the Fayland table and Langley stool.
