Sergio Asti

Sergio Asti graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, in Italy.

In 1953, Asti established his own design studio and was one of Italy's first industrial designers. Sergio Asti was also one of the founding members of the Association for Industrial Design (ADI). He is renowned for his design pieces, many of which are part of established permanent collections at design museums around the globe. Being active in the design space, Asti worked on numerous public and private interior projects including the Fiat showroom in Milan (1964) and the FISI Presidency Offices in Milan (1976). 

He collaborated with FontanaArte to create the Daruma, a blown glass table light with a unique form.
