Sergio Mazza

Milan born Italian designer Sergio Mazza, known for his contemporary and classic Italian style. Sergio Mazza explores contrasts in shape and texture to build various components together for lighting and furniture structure. His work is stylish and stand-out aesthetically. 

In 1955, he founded his own business and has worked alongside G. Gramigna in the Smc study - where they focus on furniture and industrial design for projects and manufacturers. Sergio Mazza has been recognised and awarded for his work, including a special acknowledgement for Compasso d'Oro in 1960 due to the Artemide lamp Delta and the silver medal for the Appartamento Italiano at the X Triennale of Milan. Since 1967 he collaborated with Olivari and has co-directed the design magazine "Ottagono".
