Tim Rundle is a London based industrial designer specialising in furniture and lighting design as well as interiors, installations and strategic consultancy.
With experience across furniture, lighting, homeware, technology and transport, Tim Rundle's work is driven by context and has grown to focus on the design of products and systems that exist at the intersection between architecture and its inhabitants. A preoccupation with simplicity, improvement and the pragmatic application of creativity; combined with a rigorous and knowledgable approach to the technical aspects of materials and manufacturing leads to results that are, at the same time, useful, engaging and relevant.
Tim graduated from the School of Architecture and Design at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand before relocating to London in 2008. Prior to setting up his own studio in 2015, he has worked for Priestmangoode, Tom Dixon and as Design Director at Conran and Partners.
Tim Rundle has designed the TR Bulb for Menu and the Bloom pendant for Resident.
