Tito Agnoli

Tito Agnoli was an Italian design, born in Lima Peru (1931). He studied with Mario Sironi, a modernist artist, which encouraged him to train as a painter. 

In 1949, he started his education into architecture design at the Faculty of Architecture, graduating in 1959. After his studies. Agnoli was an assistant to renowned designers Gio Ponti and Carlo De Darli. During this time, he was also working on professional projects within design. He has worked alongside several manufacturers including, Arflex, Oluce and Cinova. Being recognised for his work, Tito Agnoli was nominated on a number of occasions for the Compasso d'Oro (Golden Compass) Award, and in 1986 he won the gold medal award at the Neocon in Chicago.  

Some of his work is now part of the permanent collection at the MoMa in New York.
