Vincent Van Duysen
Belgian designer, Vincent Van Duysen, established Vincent Van Duysen Architects in 1990 and specialises in commercial developments to large-scale architectural projects to product design for international brands. The companies main focus is high-end residences in Belgium, Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.
Van Duysen nourishes the relationship between architecture, interior design and product design. His projects feature a harmonious balance between the three. The simple and tactile materials he uses in his projects result in timeless creations with the user at the centre of each design. Functionality, durability, and comfort being prime concerns. His architectural and interior styles embrace aesthetics without succumbing to passing trends and fashions.
Throughout his career, Duysen has received multiple honours for his work, most recently he was awarded the Flemish Culture Prize for Design and the Belgian Designer of the Year award.
In 2016, Van Duysen was named as Art Director of Molteni&C | Dada, he is responsible for its global image through the design of flagship stores, exhibition stands, and series of new products. He was also appointed as the creative lead of product development for Sahco for Kvadrat in 2018.
