Andrée Jardin

Over a century ago, Georges-René Julio began an apprenticeship as a brush maker in Paris. He developed such a great passion for brush making that he opened his brush factory in 1947 under the name Brosserie Juilo. Today, the factory is operated by his grandchildren, Jean-Baptiste and François-Marie, who renamed the company Andrée Jardin to honour their beloved grandmother's memory.

True believers of quality and tradition, Andrée Jardin brush handles are crafted by the finest French craftsmen using locally sourced wood from sustainably managed forests. The bristles are made predominantly of natural materials such as white hog bristle, horsehair or plant fibres.

Their brushes are produced in tiny batches to reduce waste and overproduction.
