Founded in 2017 by trend analyst Kati Hienonen, Bonden creates timeless home textiles from Finnish lambswool, blending Nordic craftsmanship with local production and ecological materials. Guided by the concept that well-being and comfort should never come at nature’s expense, every product is thoughtfully designed to support mindful consumption.

At the time of Bonden’s founding, 50-70% of Finnish sheep’s wool was being discarded due to the production challenges faced by small farms. Bonden set out to change that by giving this high-quality wool a new purpose.

Bonden offers a permanent collection of soft furnishings, with each new product carefully designed to complement the existing range. The focus is on creating enduring, versatile and timeless pieces never dictated by trends.
