Established in 1882 and presently overseen by the third generation of the Gervasoni family, helmed by Giovanni and Michele Gervasoni, Gervasoni was originally founded as a modest artisan workshop specializing in wickerwork in the province of Udine. In 1925, the reins of the company were passed on to Giovanni Gervasoni, and ever since, it has woven its way through the tapestry of 20th-century Italian design history.
Today, it stands as a well-established presence in the realm of indoor and outdoor furniture. Gervasoni boldly ventured into new frontiers of avant-garde and innovation in the 1990s, propelled by the eclectic and unconventional creativity of Paola Navone. Navone, who served as the artistic director until 2020, became the mastermind behind some of the brand's most iconic collections. Throughout its journey, Gervasoni has always upheld its rich heritage and traditions, which have been an integral part of the company since its inception.
