The Moor Rug | Rectangular by All the Way to Paris for &Tradition.

Designed by All the Way to Paris, The Moor rugs are inspired by the heather-covered hills of Scandinavia, the designers' homeland. The colours and textures of the rugs evoke the natural beauty of the landscape, with shades reflecting elements like the sun, sky, and fields, such as the Yellow that mirrors the endless rows of buttercups, while the Red Heather captures the essence of spring before summer. The collection was conceived with the intention of bringing people together and creating a grounded, comforting atmosphere in any space.

The Moor collection is crafted from a blend of New Zealand wool and viscose, a combination chosen by ATWTP for its ability to produce a rich depth of colour and texture. Each rug is handwoven by artisans in Bikaner, India, resulting in a dense, soft, and luxurious velvet-like finish.

In 2024, &tradition introduced a fringed rug to the collection. The fringe, presented in an off-white tone, is an existing element of the original Moor rug; after the carpet is completed by hand on a loom, the warp yarns are cut to leave excess and then secured in small knots.
