The design features an extruded aluminium frame with rhomboid-shaped brackets that provide both strength and a visually appealing geometry. These brackets, both structurally strong and visually distinct, create a floating effect that allows the desk to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. With minimal contact to the wall, the design respects the architectural integrity of the space, allowing it to work in both contemporary and historical interiors.
The desk surface is spacious enough for a laptop, books, or papers, while shelves above provide opportunity for display or storage. The modular design of the Rombe system allows the desk unit to function as a compact workstation or be incorporated into a larger configuration.
