Sett Side Table

Sett Side Table by Luca Nichetto for &Tradition.

Sett embodies a harmonious fusion of Italian craftsmanship and Scandinavian pragmatism, seamlessly blending cultural influences into a distinctive collection. The designer, Luca Nichetto, drew inspiration from the intricate inlay techniques of fine jewellery, where precisely cut gems are set into recesses carved into the metal surface, hence the collection's name.

Nichetto's appreciation for materiality is reflected in the three tabletop options available in the collection.

Nichetto's love for glass-making, influenced by his upbringing in Murano, is evident in the smoked finish of the collection's glass tabletop. To achieve the smoked finish, layers of colour are lacquered onto the underside of the glass post-polishing, resulting in a distinct textured look.

Marble was selected for its unique patterns, hues, and intrinsic beauty, where, despite having come from the same quarry, each slab has its own distinct identity.

The legs are made of cast aluminium, with side rails made from extruded aluminium profiles. Both surfaces are treated with dark chrome finish.

The table top is available in three finishes: Bianco Carrera marble, Verde Guatemala marble or smoked cast glass.

The marble is cut into shape and then polished to get a matt finish top. It is then treated with a protective surface treatment. Please note that due to the natural nature of the material, each marble tabletop is unique.

The glass table top is cast into shape, with the edges polished for a smooth finish. The smoked glass tabletops are unique due to the casting process and thickness may vary from 1-5mm per piece.
