A Danish design icon, Verner Panton's Flowerpot shade is characterised by its graphic, playful form, built from a rounded pendant hanging from a semi-domed upper shade. The design, which debuted in 1968, reflects Panton's experimental approach, which pushed the boundaries of conventional design.
In 2024, together with the Panton family, &Tradition released a brand new member to the Flowerpot family - the VP12, a floor lamp which suspends the original shade's form from a slim, arching arm. The design was developed from original drawings and prototypes created by Panton, with the introduction of a sturdy base allowing the light to stand freely.
The floor lamp adds a new dimension to the collection whilst remaining true to the original design.
