The Tripod HM8 Floor Lamp echoes Hvidt+and Mølgaard's minimal approach in design, striking a balance between the soft curved edges of its base and simple form. Designed in 1953, the floor lamp didn't make its way into production until 2020 when &Tradition brought it to life using sketches from the Danish design duos archive.
In 2024 &tradition evolved the design by introducing a new colour, white, and a swivel joint, allowing the shade to be rotated from left to right.

Materials
The base of the floor lamp is made from steel tubes with brass details. The shade is spun from a single piece of aluminium. The lamp is available in black or white with a satin matt finish.
Supplied with 2m fabric cord with on/off switch.
Rotating shade.
Light source: E27 Max 40 Watt, 220-240V – 50Hz (not included).
