HK20 Bubi Lamp
HK20 Bubi Lamp by Henning Koppel for Carl Hansen and Son.
The HK Bubi lamp was designed by Danish designer and sculptor Henning Koppel in 1972. Differing from many of his contemporaries, Koppel prioritised artistic expression, valuing form over function in his designs.
Inspired by Koppel's grandchild's summer hat, the HK20 Bubi Lamp features an organic, drop-like shape, combining a chrome or brass-plated steel socket with an opal acrylic shade. This versatile lamp provides soft, diffused light to illuminate small areas and can be hung from the ceiling or placed on a surface directly on its casing.
