The Soriana Sofa was first designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa in 1969. Cassina has redeployed the Soriana range and has rebooted it using environmentally friendly materials and new colours.
In 1970, the Soriana was awarded a Compasso d'Oro prize, solidifying its standing as a style icon. Defined by its voluminous curves, Soriana is wrapped generously with fixed upholstery, which forms relaxed creases around the body of the chair. Upholstered buttons adorn the sofa, adding a quilted effect, both on the seat and backrest.
Cassina has introduced a range of luxurious fabrics and leathers which can be paired with a black, white, China red, blue or green painted metal frame. Available as a two or three-seater sofa, the 944 Soriana sofa is a generous design that adds casual comfort to any home, while also inviting a sense of sophistication.

Wooden panel base, internal padding in BioFoam® microspheres and 100% recycled PET blown fibre deriving from Plastic Bank®.
Steel frame available powder-coated in black, blue, burgundy, green and white.
Upholstery in a selection of fabrics and leathers from the Cassina Collections. Quilting with upholstered buttons fixed with plastic fasteners. Feet and wheels in plastic and steel.
