Kangaroo Chair

Kangaroo Chair by Cassina.

Part of the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2016 is Le Corbusier’s Capitol Complex, created in Chandigarh in 1951, the architectural icon was designed in celebration of the independence of India. Among the furniture used in the General Hospital Hall is this iconic chair, an hommage to Pierre Jeanneret.

With a distinctive 'Z' shape the chair has been reduced to its essential form. The low solid wood lounge chair balances between modern European functionalism and a traditional Indian spirit.

It is available with an optional seat cushion. Please contact us here for more information.
