Designed from the concept of illuminating from shadows, Emi creates a striking interplay of visibility and invisibility while hiding its light source. It offers both ambient lighting and directional focus, making it versatile and practical in its design.
Its design represents a fusion of timeless craftsmanship with contemporary design, as seen through its materiality; the cast iron base nods to traditional lamp-making methods, while its aluminium body lends to more modern styles.
