IC C/W2
IC C/W2 ceiling/wall light by Michael Anastassiades for Flos.
The inspiration behind this collection comes from the online video clip of a contact juggler. He was spinning a set of spheres, moving them around. Michael Anastassiades has captured the moment when the spinning balls look perfectly still at the edge of his fingers: the blown glass opal diffuser balances perfectly on the edge of a rod.
Light bulb (not included): 1*60W E14 HSGS - Halogen light bulb.

Flos was founded in 1962 in Merano, for the purpose of producing modern lighting.
With the intention of developing new lighting concepts, the company enlisted the aid of Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa. Many successful designs of this trio are still manufactured half a century after their initial realizations. One of the first materials the team experimented with was cocoon, a very pliable material made in the USA. In 1964 Sergio Gandini joined the company, and the headquarters were moved to a new site near Brescia.
