Petit Rond Chair | Leather

Petit Rond Chair | Leather by Troels Grum-Schwensen for FRAMA

Troels Grum‑Schwensen - a Danish designer known for his minimalist, sculptural approach, designed the Petit Rond Chair in leather with a strong emphasis on how pieces adapt to their intended space, the architecture around them, and the people who inhabit them. Rooted in his background in architecture and interior design, his work aims to merge artistry with everyday functionality.

Originally conceived in 2020 for a café‑gallery situated in an old sugar factory in Stege, on the island of Møn, the stool sought to present a deliberate dialogue between the factory’s raw, worn walls and the stool’s bright, slender stainless‑steel form. Now, the design translates effortlessly into other environments - bedrooms, living areas, outdoor terraces, or creative studios - delivering both aesthetic elegance and practical flexibility.
