1972 Pendant by Paavo Tynell for Gubi.
Designed by iconic 20th-century designer Paavo Tynell, the 1972 Pendant features a hand-crafted conical bamboo shade perfectly complemented by Tynell's signature brass detailing. The bamboo slats are each sewn and fastened by hand to a linen liner on a wire frame. The shade directs the light down while allowing slivers of illumination to escape upwards through the bamboo.
The A1972 Pendant provides a height-adjustable option, with the height of the pendant controlled by an elegant brass counterweight, perfect for controlling the light above a dining table. Available with the 60cm shade only.
