The Bernard lounge chair pairs a solid timber frame with sling-like upholstery that slips over the frame in saddle leather or industrial-strength marine canvas. The timber frame is a simple typology, with subtle detailing and a timeless outline.
The leather is purposefully left untreated to acquire a rich patina similar to classic mid-century designs, while the canvas option provides a range of colours to allow an easy refresh to the chair’s aesthetic.

The Bernard lounge chair pairs a solid timber frame with sling-like upholstery that slips over the frame in saddle leather or industrial-strength marine canvas. The timber frame is a simple typology, with subtle detailing and a timeless outline.

Materials
Available in three different water-based lacquered FSC certified wood frame finishes: deep black water-based lacquered solid oak, hunter green water-based lacquered solid beech and water-based lacquered solid oak.
Deep black oak chair available with black canvas (100% cotton) or black leather seat.
Hunter green beech chair available with green canvas (100% cotton) seat.
Natural oak chair available with raw canvas (50% sunbrella acrylic, 50% recycled sunbrella acrylic), brandy or nature leather seat.
Please note: Black and Brandy are Semi-aniline leather. Nature is Aniline leather. The colour ’nature’ changes its patina over time, starting from a light tan before turning a pale pink, and finally becoming a light brown tan. The colours ‘brandy’ and ‘black’ are slightly pigmented, and develop patinas and become slightly lighter over time.
Comes with felt gliders.
