Risom Side Chair
Risom Side Chair by Jens Risom for Knoll.
One of Knoll's earliest manufactured pieces, Jens Risom's 1940's side chair was originally made from simple maple frames and parachute webbing. Due to limited resources during the war, the discarded materials were reimagined to create the classic design.
Today the design uses natural cotton webbing and select maple with a clear lacquer finish, built with mortise and tenon joints.
