The AJ lamps were designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu) and contributed to the total design concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel items have achieved design icon status today, and among the lighting products, he AJ lamps, in particular, have become world-renowned.
The fixture emits downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light.

Shade: Spun steel, base: Die-cast zinc, stem: Steel.
Available in the following finishes: black, white, aubergine, dark green, dark grey, light grey, midnight blue, pale petroleum, rusty red, yellow ochre, stainless steel.
All the above colours have a black cord except for white which has a white cord.
Bulb: 1x20W E27 (not included).
