FJ Elements Pendant

FJ Elements Pendant by Finn Juhl for Louis Poulsen.

Originally designed in 1963 by Danish architect and furniture designer Finn Juhl, the FJ Elements Pendant was reintroduced by Louis Poulsen in 2025. Its name derives from Juhl’s original hand sketches, where he referred to the design as being composed of “elements.” The collection is available in three finishes, including the original two-tone grey, as well as contemporary white and black options.

Influenced by modern art, Juhl’s work is celebrated for its organic forms, masterful craftsmanship, and bold use of materials. His innovative approach played a key role in defining Scandinavian modernism and earning it international acclaim.

The FJ Elements Pendant embodies these ideals through its sculptural silhouette and minimalist design. Comprising two hemispherical shades, the lamp allows users to adjust the angle for directional lighting. A removable diffuser provides soft, glare-free illumination and can be easily twisted on and off, offering flexibility in light control. The upward reflected light subtly highlights the interior of the shade, creating a gentle ambient glow.
