The Ginger family of lamps has a disk-shaped shade inspired by the drums used by Ginger Baker of the 1960s rock band Cream.
Despite the challenges of shaping wood, Joan Gaspar has produced a handsome, intimate lamp that provides a warm and gentle glow. The range utilises innovative materials and technology, including layers of wood, paper, and resin moulded under high pressure to create a shade thickness of only 4 mm.
The portable table version of Ginger provides lighting for spaces without the need for wires or access to power points due to its rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The lamp offers the same warm, glare-free light as the rest of the collection, making it a cosy addition to any space.
The battery is concealed in the foot.
The Ginger collection includes pendant, wall and floor lighting.
