Aura Wall Light
Aura Wall Light by Joan Gaspar for Marset.
Inspired by the conventional glass carafe, the Aura wall light was created to provide a simple solution to illuminate the room that would still stand out in a room when switched off.
Designed in 2016, the Aura lamp combines emotional and rational elements; it utilises LED technology for efficiency and subtlety, while its lampshade made of opalescent, transparent, or coloured glass creates a soft and pleasing glow without any harshness. This design also adds interest to any room it is placed in, with the glass in the lamp holding significance due to its importance in the symbolic collective memory.
The glass finish of the lampshade encourages the light to illuminate the wall it sits on and creates a subtle flow of light surrounding it.

Polycarbonate structure and dissipater in lacquered aluminium. Lampshade in blown glass.
White dissipater for white opal shade. Black dissipater for other finishes.
