Ihana means "exquisite" in Finnish and was designed by architect, Joanna Laajisto, to illuminate her studio in a 19th-century building in Helsinki. With the aim to create a system, celebrating the beauty of light, Laajisto designed a sculptural lamp defined by its simple, almost graphic, forms and by exploring the balance between rigidity and fragility.

The Ihana light is available in six standard sizes and offers an ambient light to any classic or contemporary interior. Ihana can be used as a singular piece or in multiples to create a unique light composition and the modular structure can be extended to include 14 diffusers, connected to a single point of light.
Ihana features dim to warm technology, allowing for you to regulate the intensity of the light as well as its colour temperature. This can vary from a warm white, 3000K, to an ultra-warm white (simulating candlelight), 1800K.
