Nunatak candleholder
Nunatak Candelabra by Anderssen + Voll for Nedre Foss.
In 2015, Anderssen + Voll designed the interior of the Nedre Foss Gård, a stylish restaurant in Oslo. The Nunatak candleholder was an extension of the project. The name 'Nunatak' stems from the natural landscapes of the Nordics. Hence its name, the sculptural candelabra resembles a structural skyline or geological formation.
Derived from a sketch that was realised using a 3-D printer, the candleholder's unique and expressive shape exemplifies true sculptural quality. The Nunatak is hand-moulded from clay and then cast in iron for satisfying heft and stability.
Equally elegant as a stand alone ornament or when paired with candles of your choice to bring a gentle festive light to an interior.
