Korg Tray
Korg Tray by Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere for Nedre Foss.
Korg, which translates from Norwegian to mean basket, evolved from Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere's desire to create a multi-space tray with a distinctive handle. They began their design with a semi-circle, which they rotated three times to create an oblong tray with a handle which also works as a divider.
The distinctive handle defines the space of the object, acting almost as a theatrical backdrop. It also brings a playful aspect to the tray allowing for odd pairings to be created, such as car keys on one side of the tray and fruit on the other.
