Odin Chair
Odin Chair by Jamie McLellan for Resident.
Initially designed for a line of boutique alpine properties in Niseko, Japan, the Odin chair takes influence from its situational environment in Japan and minimalist Nordic design.
Its humble design combines die-cast aluminium legs with a single piece of steam-bent ash to create a structural harmony. The ash is sourced from a forest in Sweden where lightning frequently strikes, resulting in wood with unique, sizzled grain lines.
The striking seat is available in two finishes, natural or black-stained, with the option of an upholstered seat.
