Originally designed in the 1950s, HAY has relaunched Friso Kramer's most iconic designs in collaboration with Ahrend.
Kramer designed the Revolt chair in his distinctive minimalist style. It was a revolutionary design thanks to the bent sheet steel frame Kramer used rather than the traditional tubular frame. Hay has reproduced the chair today using the same process, allowing the chair to retain its original functionality and resilience, but with more sustainable materials. The new edition uses a mix of recycled post-consumer and virgin ABS material in a variety of different colours.
This is a dynamic and flexible chair with a brilliant ergonomic design that moves with the user, resulting in active support while using. The chairs comfort and durability paired with its timeless aesthetics make it suitable for use in private, corporate or public spaces.
