Rattan Stool E14, 1957
Rattan Stool E14 by Egon Eiermann for Richard Lampert.
A milestone in the history of modern rattan furniture took place at the end of the 1940s.
This stool was designed by Egon Eiermann in 1957 for the Expo in Brussels in 1958. Eiermann and Sepp Ruff designed the Expo‘s German pavilion, where dozens of the stool, the E 10 Lounge Chair and rattan sun umbrellas enabled comfortable sitting for visitors.
At the occasion of Eiermann‘s 100th birthday 2004, we re-edited this charming and comfortable stool.
The E 14 stool is a small and easy to transport seat anywhere at home, inside or outside.
