Duo Lamp by André Ricard for Santa + Cole.
André Ricard designed the Duo lamp specifically for "executive desks" to meet two essential requirements. Firstly, it needed to provide excellent focused lighting for individuals dealing with extensive paperwork. Secondly, it should not obstruct the view of visitors from the comfortable confidants' chairs, avoiding the use of large or ostentatious lampshades. The Duo lamp flawlessly achieves both objectives. It offers close proximity illumination without interrupting the visual horizon.
This lamp features adjustable luminous flux, thanks to the independent rotation of its glass shades. The shades can be made opaque to concentrate the light on the work surface or translucent to provide a more general illumination as well.
