The Sísísí Cónicas Largas, designed in 1983 for Barcelona's Bar Sísísí, has a distinctly warm and organic presence. The light was designed by Gabriel Ordeig Cole, the founder of Santa + Cole, who wanted to challenge the prevailing lighting trend of the time, which favoured metal frames and halogen bulbs. Cole wanted to send a message that valued craftsmanship and did so through the use of stitched parchment.
The pendant emits a warm and generous downward light and is available in two sizes, three canopies and two cable finishes.
