Josef Albers I-S g Poster

I-S g Poster by Josef Albers for The Wrong Shop.

Josef Albers (1888 - 1976) was one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Modernism. The 1971 I-S g piece is part of his 'Homage to the Square' series, a two-decade-long study of colour interplay and his most impactful works. Featuring concentric squares in a range of hues, this series of over 2000 compositions continues to be a fundamental influence in colour theory and art education.

A prominent figure in the Bauhaus movement, Albers dedicated over a decade to studying and teaching there. His seminal book 'Interaction of Color' remains just as pertinent today as it was when first published in 1963.

This premium print is created closely with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation. Available unframed or with the addition of a self-assembly, sleek aluminium frame.
