Jasper Morrisons Three Sofa de Luxe plays with the concept of form and function. A sculptural statement piece, the sofa flouts the traditional role of a furnishing accent, commonly perceived as simply a seat.
The result is a unique design that is part sofa, part dormeuse, and defined by its powerful sinuous lines.
Designed in 1992, the range, which comprises several sofas and a lounge chair, is formed from poplar plywood, solid fir wood and padded with multi-density polyurethane foam.
