Model 77 Desk by Gunni Omann

A fine example of the Danish model 77 executive desk in rosewood was designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Møbelfabrik c.1960. 

The desk has six drawers at the front and two bookshelves at the back and a central drop-front compartment with an internal shelf, suitable for use as a bar compartment or for other storage. The top drawers and rear storage compartment are lockable and complete with the original keys.

Omann Jun Møbelfabrik is a Danish furniture company founded by Andreas Omann in 1933. The company originally produced bedroom furniture and later diversified to high-quality desks and sideboards in teak, oak and rosewood.

In 1954 Andreas' son Gunni began designing for the company after graduating in furniture design from the Technical College in Aarhus.
