Rayonnage Mural Shelf

First conceived in 1936 for the École Nationale Professionelle located in the French city of Metz, the Rayonnage Mural is one of the many wall bookcases designed by Jean Prouvé during the first half of the 20th century.
The two painted bent sheet metal vertical wall brackets have a streamlined form, reminiscent of the rudder of an aircraft or ship. The wall brackets come with precise slits to fit the solid wood shelves which can be inserted easily to form a practical shelf.
The vertical bracket is available in four different colours. The wooden horizontal shelves come in a choice of light or dark oak

Shelves: solid natural oak with oiled finish or solid dark stained oak with clear protective lacquer finish
