.03 chair, 1998
.03 chair by Maarten van Severen for Vitra.
The clean and simple lines of the .03 are instantly appealing, encapsulating the 'less is more' design approach. At the same time, the dining chair is extremely comfortable - perhaps unexpectedly so, given its minimal structure.
The linear seat shell is made of a resilient polyurethane integral-skin foam which gently adapts to the body when in use. The upper part of the backrest has integrated leaf springs which allow it to flex when the sitter leans backwards, enhancing the sense of comfort.
Shell with upholstered effect available in basic dark or poppy red.
Available with a choice of hard glides for carpet, or felt glides for hard flooring.
Also available in a stacking version: please enquire for details.
The Vitra original selection offers a 10-year warranty.
