Fuglsang Art Museum
Situated in the open countryside of the island of Lolland in Denmark, the Fuglsang Art Museum was designed by Tony Fretton Architects in 2008.
The new building was created to accommodate the Storstrøm Art Museum’s permanent collection of Danish art along with new galleries for temporary exhibitions, a learning centre, administrative offices, museum storage and shop and cafe spaces.
Working in close consultation with the architects and client, twentytwentyone supplied a range of furniture for the scheme.
The completed building was shortlisted for the prestigious 2009 RIBA Stirling Prize.
