Loop Coffee Table by Barber Osgerby for Isokon Plus.
The Loop coffee table was the first piece of furniture that Ed Barber and Jay Osgerby designed together and their first piece designed for Isokon Plus, marking the start of a successful collaborative partnership.
Barber Osgerby approached Isokon Plus in 1996 with the design for the table whilst still students at the RCA and the table was brought into production as the first new design for Isokon in over 40 years.
The table was a notable success at the London Design Fair in 1997 and has since been acquired by both the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London for their permanent collections.
