Carl Hansen & Son‘s master-weaver was in London throughout London Craft Week 2017, offering weaving demonstrations that showcased the skill and craft required to make each Carl Hansen chair.

In Lucienne Day‘s centenary year, we are celebrating her contributions to design with Day for Flowers, a collaborative exhibition that also marks the relaunch of Lucienne Day’s Flower Brick. 

A date for your diary: as part of London Craft Week, our Upper Street shop will be hosting a live weaving demonstration courtesy of Carl Hansen and Son. 

The CH24 was one of the first chair designs that Hans J Wegner created for Carl Hansen & Son. It remains one of the most recognisable and widely loved designs of the twentieth century.
