Gebruder Thonet

Started by Michael Thonet (1796-1871) and his five sons in 1853 under the company name “Gebrüder Thonet" and later becoming very successful furniture makers in the Industrial Age. Gebruder Thonet were manufacturers in furniture during this era, where they used steam-bent rod mechanical process, to an industrial chemical instead of a glued laminated wood technique.
