These significant names in Danish design history are notable for their enduring designs and their experimental use of materials. In their own way, each designer performed their own special alchemy with the base materials of rattan and wicker.
Founded in 1940 by Ankjær Andreasen, Sika Design remains a family run business producing handmade wicker furniture. The company focuses on comfort, quality and sustainability in all aspects of the design and manufacturing processes.

Materials
The Albini outdoor ottoman is made from Alu-Rattan, consisting of a strong aluminium frame woven with Artfibre. This makes it highly weather resistant.
