P376 Pendant

P376 Pendant by Jørgen Kastholm and Preben Juhl Fabricius for &Tradition.

Designed in 1963 by Danish architects Preben Juhl Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, the P376 is a sculptural statement with a contemporary silhouette.

Driven by a shared desire to make form a pure product of function, the designer duo graduated from the Danish School of Interior Design, where they studied under Finn Juhl and alongside Arne Jacobsen.

Staying true to the original design, the P376 is crafted from five concentric circles that join to form an open-vented shade. The result is a sleek light with streamlined symmetry, which emits a diffused, glare-free light. At the top of the shade, a cylinder conceals the bulb mount while acting as an anchor for the metal spacers between the shades.

The P376 is one of the few lamps the duo designed and is suited for both commercial and residential spaces.
