Revived from Panton's original archive sketches, Verpan brought Verner Pantons Hive to life in 2022 - the first time it entered production since its inception in the 1980s.
Known for his fondness for basic geometric shapes and organic forms from nature, it is clear that Panton was inspired by a beehive when creating this design.
The Hive, constructed from multiple concentric shades of varying sizes, exudes a distinct sculptural quality. It features a downward light projection, with layered shades evenly dispersing light onto its surroundings.
