Made in Finland from durable birch wood, the Chair 65 is part of Aalto’s innovative L-leg collection, a design breakthrough patented in 1933. The L-leg technique, developed in collaboration with Otto Korhonen, uses veneer strips inserted into precisely cut slots to reinforce the structure, providing both strength and elegance. This method helped revolutionise furniture design.
